Dana Jumaga was born in Manitoba, raised in Spruce Grove Alberta and moved to Edson in 1998 where she has been teaching ever since. Mrs. Jumaga was initially hired to teach Math, Science, Health and Religion to grade 8. Since then she has gotten the opportunity to teach many more things such as: K&E (all grades and subjects), Science (8, 9, 10, 14, 20 and 24), Math (8, and a few high school classes), CALM 20, Physical Education (all high school levels), Religion (all junior high grades), Health (all junior high grades), and numerous Junior High Options classes. Mrs. Jumaga was asked to start a Cosmetology program at HRH years ago and has worked hard to do this by going back to school herself, allowing her to get many certifications in this field of study.
In Mrs. Jumaga's free time she enjoys most sports (especially hockey, swimming, golf and kayaking) and spending time with her husband (Lance Jumaga) and two children (Jonas and Evleen). The newest member of the Jumaga family is a little fur ball (miniature schnauzer) full of energy and moxie named Mina. Mrs. Jumaga rarely goes anywhere without her!
