Donating to Edson Housing+ Program

Holy Redeemer recently donated a collection of Hygiene Kits to the Edson Housing+ Program, which provides support for individuals experiencing or are at risk because of homelessness. As a part of our Lenten commitments, our students wanted to give back to our Edson community members who may need support during these unprecedented times. Grade 11 students Alexis LaPierre and Allie Ulrich took the lead on this special project and spent many hours planning and collecting the products within the kits. We are so proud of their amazing work! HRH students and staff are guided by the words of Pope Francis, “We must live the faith, not only with our words, but with our actions.” Here, LaPierre and Ulrich along with Principal Betty Churchill present the kits to Housing+ Program Organizer Erica Snook-Pennings.
