Dan Gillmor
Mr. Gillmor is a returning, long time teacher and administrator, with more than 25 years of experience. He firmly believes in the importance of building relationships and a sense of community with students, parents, and stakeholders as being foundational to student success and achievment in a safe, faith filled, learning environment. Mr. Gillmor has over 18 years of classroom experience, primarily as a Senior High humanities teacher, where he developed his passion for project-based learning and social justice opportunities. He is committed to supporting staff in developing high quality teaching practices and supporting them in building engaging programming for all students.
Mr. Gillmor was born and raised Charlotte County, New Brunswick, and received his undergraduate and education degrees from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He is excited about the opporrtunities at Holy Redeemer for himself, staff, students, and the community.
